Christ the King itself began as mission of a group believers who desired to reach out and establish a church in Castle Rock. As a result missions and outreach in our community, our country and our world are an important part of ministry at CKPC.

As a church we sponsor eight missionaries, both in funds and prayers. Our missionaries serve all over the world, from the Philippines where they are actively helping to establish churches in regions that have never heard the Gospel before, to missionaries who run children's homes for orphaned or displaced children in Colombia, Zimbabwe and Nepal. We sponsor missionaries who plant churches and train pastors in several countries n Southeast Asia, including Nepal and India.  Our missionaries who oversee Christian humanitarian operations in Haiti have had a busy year responding to the earthquake and as they continue to offer very needed relief to that hard hit region. We also sponsor a missionary who serves in China, establishing a school and also helping to lead an underground church. 

Operation Christmas Child is a tradition for our church and this year we will be celebrating Christmas in August as we distribute and fill our shoeboxes during this next month.  There is also a chance to visit the processing center to help all the boxes that have been prepared be ready for distribution around the world.
